For over 10 years, I’ve worked with brands worldwide to develop meaningful products through women-led artisan preservation projects. These collaborations span nonprofits, social businesses, independent designers, and ethical brands, all rooted in fair exchange and women’s economic empowerment in Nepal.
Below is a list of partners and projects I’ve supported. If you’re interested in creating your own socially responsible designs, click the Custom Design button to learn how we can bring your vision to life through ethical production and cultural preservation.
For over ten years, I’ve worked closely with LWH, facilitating cooperative training and economic empowerment through social business models that support the design and distribution of locally made Nepali products by women artisans. Together, we’ve developed handcrafted items, including hemp backpacks, yoga mats, shawls, and accessories, while providing training in weaving, embroidery, and sewing. By investing in skills development, literacy, and sustainable sourcing, our collaboration aligns with LWH’s mission to generate dignified employment and preserve traditional craftsmanship while empowering marginalized women in Nepal.
I’ve worked closely with the Empowerment Collective to develop circular survivor leadership models across India and Nepal that build bridges between artisan craft preservation and the ethical distribution of goods. This self-sustaining, locally led approach empowers women artisans to preserve traditional handcrafts while generating income through fair trade practices. At the same time, it ensures that essential handmade goods and local resources are redirected to support underserved communities. Our work together uplifts survivor voices, strengthens cultural heritage, and promotes long-term economic independence through socially conscious production.
I work directly with Kapada Vintage to bring them beautifully handcrafted shawls, hemp items, and embroidered shawls made by a women’s sewing collective in Nepal. Each shawl features intricate embroidery done by hand, showcasing the artistry and resilience of our women artisans. This collaboration supports Kapada’s mission to offer ethically sourced, one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, sustainability, and independent makers. Together, we’re creating meaningful connections between conscious consumers and empowered women artisans.
Partnering with Women of the Cloud Forest, I help create custom-designed products handcrafted in Nepal using natural cotton, felt, and detailed hand embroidery. These pieces are made by a women’s sewing collective, honoring traditional skills while supporting dignified, sustainable livelihoods. Our collaboration reflects the brand’s deep commitment to ethical production and long-term artisan partnerships, resulting in fair trade goods that carry both beauty and purpose. Each item is a reflection of cultural resilience, artisan care, and the power of women-led creativity.
Collaborating with Himalayan Made, I co-created custom-designed accessories handcrafted in Nepal using sustainable hemp, natural plant-based dyes, and thoughtfully upcycled materials. Working alongside a women’s sewing collective, we developed expressive pieces — from bags to pouches — each dyed with vibrant botanical pigments sourced locally and lined with recycled sari or rice-sack fabrics. This collaboration builds on Himalayan Made’s ethos of ethical, fair-trade production “one product at a time,” supporting empowered artisan women, minimizing waste, and celebrating conscious craftsmanship. https://himalayan-made.fr/
In collaboration with Himal Hemp, I’ve helped develop a line of custom-designed hemp bags crafted in Nepal, guiding the process from fabric selection to incorporating locally harvested bone buttons. I also contributed to the design of their yoga mats and tobacco cases, combining recycled materials and natural dyes to create products that are both sustainable and functional. Working alongside women artisans and small workshops, our creations embody Himal Hemp’s commitment to ethical production, traditional craftsmanship, and ecological responsibility
Working closely with the design team at Royal Handicrafts, I collaborated to co-design custom T-shirts and clothing produced by a women’s artisan co‑operative in Nepal. These garments blend traditional sewing techniques with thoughtful contemporary design, supporting fair trade practices and offering sustainable, handcrafted fashion. Through this work, I’ve helped deliver apparel that reflects both cultural authenticity and the brand’s ethos of empowering female artisans while upholding environmental responsibility.
In close partnership with TransparaTrade, I helped develop the Yogamaty, a 100% supply chain transparent yoga mat cover designed to support the End Modern Slavery Now movement. From raw materials to final stitching, every step of the Yogamaty’s production is fully traceable, offering consumers a clear view into ethical sourcing and dignified labor. This project advances TransparaTrade’s mission to establish global supply chain transparency labeling, empowering buyers to make informed choices while uplifting artisans and combating hidden labor exploitation.
Partnering with The Leprosy Mission, I facilitated the procurement and production of artisan-made shawls, laptop covers, and singing bowls sourced from Nepal’s cottage-industry networks. These items are crafted by women artisan collectives, deepening the organization’s mission to empower marginalized communities through dignified employment and fair trade practices. By working with these communities, we support sustainable livelihoods and meaningful craftsmanship that benefits both artisans and the wider goals of The Leprosy Mission.
Working with Thistle Farms, I’ve helped facilitate the sourcing of exceptional goods from Nepal’s cottage industry and women-led businesses. This includes meditation pillows, singing bowls, cotton and hemp textiles, each item handcrafted by skilled women artisans using sustainable practices. Our collaboration supports Thistle Farms’ mission to create dignified employment and healing communities for women, while uplifting global partners through fair trade and ethical production.
Collaborating with Parfümerie Wiedemann, I help facilitate the sourcing of luxurious pashmina shawls and handcrafted bags and purses made by women artisans in Nepal’s cottage industry. Each piece is created with care, using traditional techniques and sustainable materials that reflect generations of craftsmanship. Through this partnership, we support fair trade practices, preserve cultural heritage, and provide economic opportunities for women, bringing ethically made, high-quality goods to discerning clients.
